Dear Reader
A big thank you to all of you who completed the survey, we had about a hundred of you respond, that's fantastic! It's really going to help me put together what you want help with. Over the coming months I'll start to incorporate and send you information on what you're looking for. If you didn't get a chance to fill in the survey you can still do so here.
We're in autumn and this quarter of the year I'm thinking about transition - what have I done over the last year and what would I still like to do for the remaining year. Again I hear myself saying, "where did this year go!", this time I'm doing the things I said I would so I'm not regretting lost time.

What are you doing to calm your mind?
You'll now be able to read my personal reflections within my blog - what I've been up to and my own journey of health as well as other useful stuff on research, foods, recipes. You'll be able to leave feedback too.

Do you warm your muscles up before exercise or massage?
I usually advise on hot/cold treatments to patients because it can help ease pain and help gain health. I found a profound difference when in my yoga practice when they turned on the radiators to get the room really hot for practice. It made a huge difference to my postures and the ease in which my body flowed through the routine.
The second place I experienced a profound effect with heat was during a delightful hot stone massage. The warmth of the oil and the warmth of the stones used to massage meant that my muscles relaxed deeply and therefore the therapist was able to really get into the muscles loosening knots and easing pain. Those of you who have had a therapeutic massage will know that it can be excruciating and divine at the same time! I thoroughly recommend it.
I generally recommend getting a massage at least once a month. It can bring huge benefits not only to your flexibility and movement but to many health issues to.
John Lawes has just joined Rumana Health to deliver Hot Stone Massages. He is an excellent masseuse and is particularly experienced in handling sports injuries, pain and chronic muscular problems. Please see our introductory offer for experiencing this wonderful massage.
