Dear Reader
It's October and I'm really feeling the cold already. I just want to curl away and hibernate for 3 months! But there's so many things I have packed in to do before the end of the year. Have you planned your last few months of 2008? To avoid the pressures and stresses of the coming months, take time out and begin to reflect now on what needs doing. An hour relaxing in a coffee shop (with a herb tea of course) and writing your next few months actions will get you ahead of the rest!
In this issue:
- Find out about more about effects of Tiredness and Chronic Fatigue
- Meet Lyn White and find out more about Reverse Therapy
- Are you feeling fulfilled or fed up with your life?
Find out more below.
With Love
When I was running the retreat this year I pack several books to take with me for people to read. One book I packed was called "There's Nothing Wrong with You" by Cheri Huber. It was one that disappeared and I didn't see it until I was packing my bags to leave again. It circulated through the whole group.
If you've ever read Cheri's books they're lovely: easy to read, simple and understandable. I liked this one because she looks at how we are processing situations and circumstances as any normal human being would rather than thinking there's something wrong with you. Our mind talk can lead us into all sorts of confusions which is why it helps to talk things through with someone. Once you have the awareness and understanding then you need to be brave enough to take the next steps!
Some situations can be difficult - we don't want to look inside of ourselves. We're out of our comfort zone and you want to do anything but deal with it - a difficult relationship, talking to your boss, changing your career, taking control of your health. Whatever it is it's so easy just to sit tight and do nothing.
I was sitting in the kitchen when the phone rings and it's my sister who hasn't spoken to me for years. Suddenly I have to face something that had been left for years. I could run away and hide under the cupboards or simply talk. There wasn't enough space under the cupboards so I had no choice, we started to talk.

Energy is the fuel that drives us, but what happens when we lack so much that we can barely keep going? And is it just the physical effort we make that takes our energy or can emotions affect us too?
In Britain it is estimated about 250,000 people suffer from Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) also previously known as ME. It is a condition which has...

Aviva Baran shares her wisdom to keep us all engaged with our inner sparkle.
Fulfillment is vital. It is constantly evolving. What fulfilled you when you were 20 years old and what fulfills you now may be very different.
I have 6 curious questions for you….
- Rate yourself out of 10 when asking the question - How fulfilled are you in your life right now?
- What would it take to become a 10/10?
- What do you want more of in your life?
- When do you feel most alive?
- If you died tomorrow what would you most regret?
- What does fulfillment mean to you?
To me, being fulfilled doesn’t necessarily mean having everything you want, it is more about doing what is important to you, and being the person you want to be. It isn’t necessarily about feeling good all of the time either. Don’t you feel fulfilled sometimes when you are facing challenges and you know that you are learning and growing so much and being the best that you can be?
