Testimonial

Thank you Jane for taking the time to send in such a wonderful testimonial. Recommended reading for those of you who wish to know more about what I do and particularly if you want to reduce or come off medication.

I would like to thank you Rumana for all your expert help. After years of trying, I never thought that I would ever be free of anti-depressants. I would suffer terrible side effects and panic attacks every time I tried to reduce my dose. In my quest to become free of medication, …(full text)

Personal Reflections

I really feel I have been semi-hibernating over the winter: not feeling like getting up early, wanting to stay indoors and desperately wanting to keep warm – all part of the winter season response. A good friend of mine has just come back from spending 2 years in Australia where she said she got up at 5.30am to do yoga and it seemed effortless. Now back in the UK she says she can barely make it for 9am! I do believe the seasons have a deep affect on our biology, yet we constantly over-ride nature’s rhythms; could it be that colds and flu’s – so rife in winter – is the price we pay for struggling on regardless…?

A Beautiful Life Residential Weekend

Which Remedy?

There are so many good ones on the market but which one is the best to go for...

I’ve been inundated with emails recently about what to do for thinning hair and hair loss in general (from women mostly). A product that has recently come to my attention is Nourkrin (available in tablet and shampoo form). The main ingredients in this product are a marine extract and the herb horsetail. This product is high in silica, which is needed for hair growth and incidentally also helps skin and nails. Does it work? Well, I have heard many positive reviews about this product. However, do bear in mind considerations also need to be given to a good diet and lifestyle as well as balancing hormones. The only thing is that it is expensive at £49 with a minimum recommended use of 3 months.

If your budget does not extend that far then there is an alternative. You can try - Horsetail herb on its own in capsules form and/or as a loose herb made into an infusion – a) to drink as a herbal tea and b) use as a hair rinse. Herbs of Grace Horsetail capsules or loose herb and Nourkrin can be ordered via the Nutri Centre.

The Nutri Centre will give you 5% discount if you mention you are purchasing this or any other nutritional supplements via practitioner Rumana Zahn and ZZRR001.  Nutri Centre mail order 0207 436 5122  Postage is free!

Being in Flow

Inspirational Life Coach, Aviva Baran shares her wisdom to keep us all engaged with our inner sparkle.

Aviva BaranYou know when someone’s doing an activity in flow; they make it look so easy!

Think of an activity that you do or have done, that you love, that you get so absorbed in, where you feel so present, where you are authentic to yourself, (and others), that you have fully engaged in, that you lose track of time in…and actually it can feel quite effortless, even if it gets challenging. …Doesn’t it feel as if you are ‘on purpose’?

Keeping to your life’s purpose is a constant process, a process of recognition, of learning, of implementing ideas and passions into a life that will give you a new sense of freedom, peace and contentment. After nearly 40 years, I have finally identified, owned and voiced my Life Purpose, which I am now in the process of taking forward. I’m not saying that the journey’s been easy, but I’m excited that I’m willing to take the next steps, the risk of living my truth and trusting in myself and in life.

Are you willing to take the risk of rising above anxiety or apathy and give yourself a chance to blossom?

PR Feature

Next month I am being featured in Asian Woman Magazine as an inspirational Asian female. Beside the fact I can speak another language, like bollywood music and love eating curries, I feel no different to anyone else. When I think of the healing knowledge embedded within the culture I was brought up in there is so much to share. I often site examples of my mother massaging me when I used to come home from school helping me get rid of my tension. When I had exams she would make me drink this terrible milky concoction made of almonds. Well I can’t complain because I now hear the same from my clients – “yuk, do I have to take this!“

I find cultures very fascinating, the way people live, particularly their healing systems. I would love to hear your views on any healing tips you may have picked up from other cultures that have made a difference to your life. If you wish to share please e-mail me.

Keep well!

With love
