I've been working on putting together a programme of health workshops. I decided to do them locally rather than as teleseminars at the moment. We've also made a commercial move to make available our audio's at a substantially reduce the price for a short while. See below for more.

Our newsletter contains:

Rumana

Testimonial

Jed, a strong tough looking man in his 30's, came to see me around Christmas last year, his health was deteriorating regardless of countless visits to the GP. As a boxer earlier in life he knew what peak fitness was about. But now with little energy, poor concentration, low moods and numerous health problems he was not even able to work out at the gym. He began to really get worried when he didn't have the energy to look after his son and started to snap and become angry - nothing was helping him.

He saw my ad in a local magazine and decided to give me a try. He came for one visit. This is his testimonial.

"After feeling bad for over four years and visiting my GP, probably over fifty times with no success, I decided to see Rumana. In one visit she found the problems and put me on the road back to good health. I cannot thank her enough for putting me on the road back to good health. I feel a million times better."

Jed Tytler, Middlebrough

Personal Reflections

Movement and exercise are essential to our health. If you can imagine yourself in your 60's or 70's what would your health be like?

I was recently visiting a health centre which supplied mobility equipment. I was bowled over by number of the products available for mobility in and out of the house. I guess you don't really think that as you get older you may be the one with mobility problems but the statistics are increasing. I don't even want to imagine not being able to walk but that's part of the problem.

Discussing this with my osteopath he proceeded to tell me a story about when he was in training. Working on his placement in a Care Home, one lady particularly stood out amongs the rest - in her 80's she would spring out of bed and skip around the corridors. He was curious and asked one of the staff about her; she was a ballarina most of her life.

Getting movement and exercise into our everyday life doesn't have to mean you become professional dancer! It's about movement and whether you do that in the gym, going for a walk, moving regularly about your office or 5 mins of stretches the message is simple - just do it!

Beat the Blues

“I just can’t get motivated, I feel really low and cannot pull myself together, nothing interests me anymore.”

BluesIf you find yourself saying something like this then you may be experiencing ‘the blues’. It can be anything along the scale of being deeply upset about something, a period of anxiety or the onset of depression. Concentration suffers, and you feel as though you’re...

Reverse Therapy Helps Chronic Fatigue

Alex Anthony-Lewczuk on Southside Radio, interviews Reverse Therapist Lynn White

Lyn White Reverse TherapistReverse Therapy works on the understanding that in some conditions, such as Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia, an “alarm response” has been set off in part of the brain called the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus then drives the body’s systems to exhaustion using hormones and the sympathetic nervous system, leading to many distressing symptoms.
